What is zinc phenosulfate, in my antiperspirant? - ethyl sprays how it works
It is my antiperspirant ingredients listed, after the ethyl alcohol, propylene glycol, and triclosan. Do not use the spray aluminum base, which seems to be the norm. A Google search returns only a handful of references that have nothing to do with the deodorant too. Wikipedia has nothing. Does anyone know?

Zinc Phenosulfate (ZnC6H6SO4) is a common bacteriostatic agent that the growth and multiplication of bacteria by interfering with the production of proteins, DNA replication and inhibits cellular metabolism. In general, the bacteria but do not consider killing.
Since bacteria are the main cause of the Oder body deodorants contain either a bacteriostatic agent (such as phenosulfate zinc) or anticeptic (such as zinc oxide) to limit the growth of bacteria.
Zinc Phenosulfate not be used as a spray, probably because it is a relatively large particles, and they can hinder the absorption of aerosols. But I'm sure there is another obstacle for bacterial agent ... is zinc oxide, which is a much smaller particles.
